Khapli Gavhachi Kheer

Khapli gahu chi kheer is made specially for my son who was allergic to dairy! My family have a massive sweet tooth. But due to dairy my son couldn't enjoy most of the indian sweets. So my Aunt came up one day with this dish and feed him. He was so gourmand after eating first spoon of it. And it became his on go favourite sweet dish which he can enjoy. I too had it first time and fell in love with it's simplicity.               Khapli gahu is long graind special type of wheat also know as Emmar wheat. Wich is very low in gluten, high in fibre, as well significant source of proteins, minerals, lipids, iron, dietary fibre thiamine, and several vitamins. These are vital for a healthy body. Later I came to know khapli wheat is the most nutritious type of wheat and believe to be original form of wheat. Adding khapli gahu in a daily diet can help you to loose weight. It improves your digestion. Its best for diabetic patients to control suga

Mirchi Bada

Mirchi Bada, name itself describes the taste. Spicy but Tangy & piping hot mirchi bada is a next level satisfaction! This Dish is form "Rangeelo Rajsthan". The most colorful as well Royal state of India. I visited Rajasthan with my Family. I remember we were travelling in a tightly packed bus and me and my cousin were starving. We demanded uncle that we want something to eat and with lightning speed like a superman my uncle made out of the bus on a stop. He found only Mirchi bada as there was only one small vendor selling it. weather was burning hot and piping hot bada in our hands. That taste was AMAZING!!! I never had same mirchi bada ever. After that I went to Rajasthan couple of times but every vendor's taste is different but definitely unique. Today I tried to recreate the taste.                     Mirchi Bada means deep fried stuffed green chili pepper. Fresh green chili pepper used in this dish is special verity of chili pepper ca

Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi !!! A full glass of contentment 😌is what I call this! Mango lassi is more famous out of India. People here in India prefer basic sweet lassi or savory lassi.   This a seasonal non alcoholic drink loved by all age group.                This thick consistency smoothie like drink is made with fresh curds (yoghurt), cream, cardamom powder sugar, and fresh mango puree. That's it, they put all elements in a big bowl type vessel and churn it by hand using a wooden churner. Until everything comes together and becomes smooth. Then a loude fancy pour in glass and add Cream on top of it. The person who is making lassi loves to show how they are pouring lassi in a glass with a turn on place and pouring from height. Glass to vessel and vessel to glass, a small juggling to impress the camaras😉.                    Lassi came from the accomplished state of India "Punjab". Everywhere in Punjab you will see at least one vendor is selling lassi. N

Thalipith

Thalipith is a blessing for me. Whenever I crave for savory yet fulfilling I enjoy thalipith. Thalipith is such a beautiful protein pack invention which is easy and quick to make. You just need butter and curds to enjoy this humble delicacy. This power pack dish belongs to Maharashtra. And also popular in Gujrat and Karnataka. Maharashtra is land of wrestlers and soldiers that's why this dish might have came up this is my analysis. When you do lots of physical hard work then your body needs protein. And Thalipeeth totally serves the purpose.                                   Thalipith is made of special flour called "Bhajni". It includes some legumes Chana dal, Urad dal, also some grains like Rice, Wheat, Bajra, Jowar, and some spices like cumin seeds, coriander seeds. All this raw ingredients accept spices goes for a wash and then sun dry it or at least dry for couple of days covered in a dry place. After a complete dry, they

Surnache kaap

I  was unaware about this big and weird looking Yum category root Superfood called Suran. I came to know about Suran when we moved to India. Mumbai city is so welcoming that it accommodates all the people , food & culture who even visit here. Specially food.. I have never seen such a big vegetable market available with all kind of verity national and international too. There I met Suran and as people are so kind hearted & talkative here one vegetable vendor told me about the recipe and benefits of suran. As I am little experimental 😁so I bought it and end up eating all the suran curry by my self😂🤣.. But I am stubborn so I decided to try it again till my family accepts it.. I started searching for more ways to cook it. And I came to know this amazing recipe called "Suranache Kaap" again from vegetable vendor only❤️. And finally my family specially my older child (My Husband😉) approved this wild and weird looking Suran. So yes
