Plain Paratha

This is layerd flat indian bread made to enjoy with curry. This paratha often made with ghee (clarified butter). Some prefer it with oil also. But this tastes so good with ghee and any saag, specially in winters. Crispy outside and soft inside. This is eay healthy than any naan or kulcha, because it is made out of wheat flour. Every indian house eat this on a daily basis. Paratha or any flatbread made out of wheat flour is a staple food in india and some other asian countries. Next time if you get an alternative to naan, then do try this healthy and easy to digest paratha. And no, this is not gluten free because wheat is not necessarily gluten free. So if you are allergic then try other flatbreads. Happy eating!

Kadai Paneer

Kadai Paneer is a north Indian side dish. This is a spicy subzi or curry eaten with Indian flat bread. This is a tomato and onion based curry, holds lot of whole spices like cinnamon, black papper, cloves, cardamom, list gose on. Garam masala never been used in this dish. If you like spicy and a indian food lover then definitely Kadai Paneer is the dish you will like, and don't forget squeeze lemon on your onions cutting with hint of salt and black pepper powder. Mutter Panner

Matar paneer is a vegetarian North Indian dish made with fresh peas and Paneer (indian Cottage cheese) in a tomato based sauce, spiced with garam masala and kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves). It is often served with rice and an Indian type of flat  bread like naan, paratha, poori or roti. This is one of a rich gravy. It is incomplete without cashew paste and fresh cream. This is a less spicy or you can say non spicy dish to enjoy. If you cannot handle spicy at all then go for this. Now you know what to order next time if you are at an Indian restaurant. Baigan Bharta Bhakri

Bhakri and Baingan bharta (mashed eggplant /Brinjol) is deadly combination. Baingan bharta is popular in Gujrat and some parts of Maharashtra. Bhakri is a indian flat bread. it is made with Bajri, jowar, rice, ragi and mix grains. Bajri (pearl millet) and Jowar ( sorghum) are widly use in different parts of india. Jowar and bajra are gluten free so it is way more healthier than any other flat bread.  There are verity of eggplants but for bharta 2 of the types are most common. Misal Paav

Misal pav  is a popular dish from Maharashtra, India. It consists of misal and pav.The final dish is topped with farsan or sev onions, lemon and coriander (cilantro). It is usually served with bread or rolls toasted with butter and buttermilk or curds. Misal is spicy curry made with moth beans. This has 3 steps to eat 1st is misal 2nd rassa or tari and 3rd is farsan. Usually at all the misal stalls rassa or tari is is unlimited. If you like spicy then add more rassa. Moth beanisal is not spicy rassa gives it a kick. It is served as a breakfast dish, as a snack and also as a full meal. In every part of Maharashtra you will find different verity of misal. Kathi Roll

  Kati roll is a street-food dish originating from Kolkata, west Bengal. In its original form kabab folded in a Indian flat bread with different toppings. In native Bengali, the word Kati roughly translates to "Stick", referring to how they were originally made. In Bengal though, the delicacy is simply known as "roll". Kati Rolls normally contain coriander chutney, marinated onions, paneer, tomato or some may add other salad vegetables like cucumber. Mix veg us every mother's favorite subzi (curry or side dish). Indian mothers loves it when their children are eating all the vegetables. So mommas out there here is the subzi which your kid will love. This is non spicy tomato based gravy with most of the seasonal vegetables. Mix veg is popular at dhaba ( Dhaba mean road side restaurants that are open late night for truck driver or late night travelers, this serves such delicious food at low price) in India. This gravy made with tomato, onions, ginger & garlic, as well fresh cream for the richness. They pick any seasonal vegetables but bell pepper and potatoes are must. Veggie Patty

Veggie patty is street fast food popular in northern India. Mumbai is famous for it's verity of food. I tried this patty or more of burger when I was in Mumbai. This is very simple yet next level burger I ever had. The patty is made out of boild potatoes, carrot, beetroot with garam masala and salt only. Once the stuffing is ready they rost it on hot tawa (griddle) with tons of butter till it became crispy. The pav (dinner roll) is also been rosted. Then they play with the test. Spicy mayonnaise, tomato ketchup and green chutney inside of hot crispy pav (dinner roll). To complete it they add salad like sliced cucumber, sliced onions, sliced tomato, grated beetroot and mountain of grated cheese. Then again the whole burger patty gose on tawa just forfew seconds then it's ready to statisfy your taste buds. Masala Papad

           Masala Papad is not a starter nor a snack, neither a fast food either a street food. But still it is enjoyd before or with any meal or 4 pm snack before or after tea. It can be a 4 am chatpata snack while studying or a time pass snack before the ordered menu calms your hunger.                                                                   Base Papad is made with various lentils. It is crisp and deep fried. It can be any papad like moong dal papad, urad dal papad, chana papad, or a big one is khaja which is made out of rice flour or maida (refined flour). Toppings are just onion, tomato, cilantro (coriander), and 0 number sev mixed just with salt, red pepper (chilli) powder and little oil.
